Q:
I’m worried about collusion between players that I don’t know. What steps has FantasySportsMarket.com taken to deter this problem?
A:
We all have been faced with a couple of owners that don’t mind playing the game unfairly to win a couple of bucks; most of the time you see a team trade it’s top players to a “colluding” team. This is a serious offense that FantasySportsMarket.com takes very seriously. In order to avoid these problems for the players there are several steps that you can take to help us get rid of these players.
The SUPPORT page contains a field titled “concerning” – Within that field scroll down to “Report Fraud/Cheating/Collusion” feature on everyone’s profile.
If you feel that some players are playing unfairly in your league, please send FantasySportsMarket an alert using this method and we will suspend their account unless we feel that they have not played unfairly. If the user is suspended they will not be able to access their FantasySportsMarket account.
Also, if the user wants us to take a deeper look into their league, they can provide their league information to FantasySportsMarket.com’s legal team and we will go directly into your league’s account on your fantasy game provider and assess whether the actions taken fall under FantasySportsMarket’s “colluding” clause. The actions taken by the “colluding” players must be drastically unfair. Many players have different opinions of trades in fantasy sports so FantasySportsMarket will do an analysis of the actions and determine whether the trade fits under the criteria that would provide for a suspension of the players account. For example, if the trade is a bit one sided it will not be a cause for suspension of the user’s account.
If the trade ends up going through and the league is changed in a way that makes the game unfair, FantasySportsMarket.com reserves the right to cancel the league payment group on our site. All player fees that have been sent to FantasySportsMarket will be returned. We want to keep the atmosphere at FantasySportsMarket as fair as possible. Keeping our site safe and secure is our top priority and therefore FantasySportsMarket.com has a Zero Tolerance Policy for fraud and collusion. If we determine that a player is involved in fraudulent behavior we will close their account immediately.
If you feel like you are involved in an unfair league or are experiencing any other fraudulent issues make sure you let us know on the SUPPORT PAGE
As stated above to report a problem, select the “REPORT FRAUDULENT/CHEATING/COLLUSION option in the CONCERNING SECTION

The No-Hassle Commissioner
Q:
Can you guarantee collection from each player in my league?
A:
We can’t guarantee that each player pays but we will help each commissioner by sending daily or weekly reminder to “those guys” that have not paid. Your commissioner can control how often these reminders are delivered.

Q:
How much does FantasySportsMarket.com charge for its services?
A:
FantasySportsMarket charges 3% of each player’s entry fee. So for example, if you play in a league with a $100 entry fee, each player will be charged $103. This fee covers our costs with our credit card processor. At the end of the season you will receive ALL of your leagues entry fees are returned to your league’s winners, minus the 3% fee that FantasySportsMarket charges for our services.

Q:
What happens to my entry fee?
A:
Once the transaction goes through FantasySportsMarket’s Payflow Payment Gateway, it is stored in our FDIC-insured bank and will be returned to you at the end of the fantasy sports season with your league’s approval.

Q:
How do we designate our season winners?
A:
At the beginning of the season, your league holds a vote to designate how much involvement your league’s owners should have in validating the end-of-season winners. Some league winners will be determined by a majority vote while other leagues will provide the commissioner with complete control. The distribution of winnings to the champion depends on the method picked by the league during league registration. We strongly recommend you understand the options available, there will be no turning back at the end of a season if there is a dispute.

Q:
How long does it take to process a withdrawal?
A:
Withdrawals are usually processed within 48 hours.

Q:

Q:
How do I invite new team owners?
A:
Click on the “Create a League” page and begin registration for your league.
If you are looking for players - Depending on what sport you want to play there will be a list of positions offered for your league. This gives people who are looking for a league some information about your league (positions, number of players that start at each position, number of bench spots etc.)
Please be sure to input the same league information for your league on FantasySportsMarket.com as the information on your fantasy sports game provider.
If you have a league already and want to use only our escrow service only you will not have to fill out the positions and certain other league information.
Number of Teams: the number of teams you put in here will set how many invites you can send out. So, for example, if you want 12 players in your league, the invite area will let you send out 11 total invites -
In the Entry Fee section, input how much you want each team’s entry fee to be.
Set the day you want FantasySportsMarket to start reminding players that don’t pay and the day you want the payment to be due.
Payout Information - Input the percentage of funds you want to allocate to Regular Season Winners. If you don’t want to pay out regular season winners, input the percentage of funds you want to allocate to the Playoff Winners.
Invite Users - This section will allow you to send a personalized email to each member that you want in your league.
Private Group - If you want to keep your league from being “searchable” choose YES. If you are looking for players on our network select NO

Q:
What is a private league?
A:
A private league is a feature that is most often used when the user has a full league of players and wants FantasySportsMarket.com to handle the collection of the entry fee. If this option is selected on the "Create a League" page, other users in the network will not be able to search for the league. So if you want additional players, do not select "private" when setting up your league.

Q:
Can I make my league a "public" league on my fantasy sports game provider (i.e ESPN, Yahoo Sports, Sportsline)?
A:
No. Please be sure to make your league a private league when setting up your league on your fantasy sports game provider. If you select a public league, random users will be thrown into your league. If you select "private league," you will be able to control who joins the league. Once the league is set up, you can invite players from FantasySportsMarket.com's network and you can play for an entrance fee (even with strangers!) because we'll handle the collection of entrance fees and dispurse winnings at the end of the season.
